Obituary
Alfred Chadwick McMurray was born December 25, 1978 and departed this life August 30, 2010, much too soon.
This past year, Chad resided in Oakland Park, FL where he made a beautiful life for himself.
Chad was a graduate of Grimsley High School. He attended Appalachian State University and NC A & T State University. Chad was presently attending Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School where he was pursuing his dream to become a chef.
Chad was a loving, caring son and friend who had a radiant smile that was sincere and genuine. He also had a very big heart. There was nothing that he would not do to help a friend, a loved one, or a stranger.
Chad is survived by his parents, George and June McMurray; sister, Jacquetta M. Hamilton (Booker); nephews, Tre and Zachery; niece, Sara; grandfather, Robert Shoffner; a special aunt, Mary Shoffner; a very loving special friend, Shannon Prewitt; and a host of extended family and friends.
His funeral will be held Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Skeens Chapel Holiness Church. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
